Your girlfriend needs to allow you to take care of your sick mother. After all, your mother won’t be around forever. Your girlfriend lacks sensitivity. She might not be the right one for you.

She feels excluded because she is excluded. Her PTSD is real, just like a missing leg or blindness in one eye. If you can’t find a way to fit in with that then you are the wrong mate for her.
