You are permitted to bring one unopened bottle of water. If you take a drink out of that bottle, and then cross the street to go look at the lilacs and come back to the commercial area they will take your bottle away. I saw them do that repeatedly. Whoever is running the festival this year should be run out of town.

I had a guy block my driveway last winter. I raised holy hell about it. His excuse was that I had not shoveled my driveway – there was about 2 inches of snow. I don’t bother when there’s 2 inches. It is always illegal to block a driveway. Always.

There have already been protests, and more protests are planned. Are you not hooked into the activist connections here in Rochester?

I don’t know. I like the traffic circles. They are much better than the four-way intersections we used to have.
