Not even close to the same quality as Andor, fucking blasphemy. Read a book.

I may check out Solo. I didnt even watch Rogue One until halfway through season one of Andor tbh. Id chalked off the entire franchise.

Hot take here: Same as you OP, saw the originals in theaters and Ive said fuck all to the shitass prequels and sequels, dont bother they suck. Ignore all the fillers and fan bait series and cartoons, they also pretty much suck. All thats needed is Andor -> Rogue One ->Original Trilogy and be done with it. Everything else basically sucks.

I just couldnt do it. I love real sci-fi, RA is bit comedy with a sci-fi theme. Its NOT sci-fi.

Adrian Tchaikovsky and James SA Corey are my favorite contemporary authors, Scalzi’s up there.

It doesnt. Foundation is terrible on too many counts.

AT is amazing and likely my favorite contemporary author other than James SA Corey (I know two authors, lol). The Final Architecture after reading The Expanse is a great ride. Im currently reading Bear Head and its so good, one of my favorites so far. I didnt realize its same universe as War Dogs but set later, so thats next on my AT list. Bee Speaker is being released this year as the 3rd book in that series, stoked!

Okay Im almost done with book one and Im enjoying it immensely. Im an avid reader and have yet to pic up on the meta-story although Ive gotten clues along the way. I always am ready to look up words to deeper my understanding and not just understand the context. Ive actually been flummoxed because half the words Im looking up arent real words and made up for the story. So now Ive gone ahead and accepted the context instead of definitions.

Mushroom polymers are also being developed and would work well grown in space.
