I doubt it was meant to imply they were offended. That would be the most disappointing theory based off the body language alone. Natalie looked all kinds of crazy and was so awkward you could assume she had little experience with how to handle a more intimate encounter. I think shes severed. I think milchik has motives that will align with Mark s somehow because of how disgusted he looked at her. Like he was about to lose it.

I thought it was pretty funny. Like that Netflix adaptation meme lol

I forgot about that. When helly said something about resetting, it would make sense if she were actually the mom and her memories are implanted and she was severed this whole time and just realized it.

They all looked pretty rough. Definitely thought theyve been down there for more than a workday.

The board is insistent that reintegration is impossible but its not fully known if they can alter the memories/state of the two halves of severed people. I think back to the politicians wife that chose to erase her pregnancy from her memory.

Where did you get the shot of Gemma with the cold harbor title?

I dont think she was scared of the driver. I think she had a realization and picked up on something helly said during their conversation.

Oh ok. I personally think he has an ulterior motive that will come out this season. His dissatisfaction with the job could also explain. Over the two seasons hes slowly become less bubbly and lifeless. The scene where hes unreasonably frustrated by the welcome screen is proof of that.

Its very on brand for kier and lazy writing if true. If natalie and milchik are there to take down lumon bc, racism, that would be the dumbest shit given Gemmas situation.

I dont think thats it at all. I just re watched the scene and the bts. Given stillers politics, theres no way he understands how weird corporate culture can be around race. Its spot on. Either way, still doesnt mean racism is the core reason for the awkwardness.
