It’s not the same vibe but it is similar (if not better) attention detail, production and overall setting of mood. It’s a mind-fuck of a story, there’s some similarity in that. Really great actors and characters, the writing, acting and production really is top tier.

Another really great series and show is Station Eleven, it’s post apocalyptic so hits a Silo vibe there. The show was changed up quite a bit from the book but man they both are fantastic.

I don’t know if I have a favorite AT yet, so many are amazing and his catalogue is vast af. The guy is prolific like 2-3 (or more) books published every year for last 5 or more. My first dive into his works is the Final Architecture series after my first read of The Expanse. It’s a space opera and for sure filled that void, very different but super awesome, great aliens and characters. Children of Time series is amazing and has gotten a lot attention and popularity, the fourth book comes out this year. Another series I accidentally started in middle of is Dogs of War, I read the 2nd book Bear Head a few months ago and it was fantastic, the 3rd book Bee Speaker just came out. I’m on the wait list for both DoW and BS at my library. Shroud also came out top of the year, as of now it’s one shot and it’s really good, very different. Another great stand alone is Cage of Souls.

The Expanse and Severance Without knowing if ur talking about the show or the books its hard to answer ur query. Tons of great books, lots of good shows out there as well. If youre a reader check most anything by Adrian Tchaikovsky. JSAC who did The Expanse has a new series book one is amazing, The Mercy of Gods. Great novella as well, LiveSuit.

Its a slow burn, very different pace but really well done and a great story.

Good list, I’ll check out The Lost Room. It’s the only one I’m not familiar on that list. I’d add Severance, From and Station Eleven to it, and since you have Fringe on the list add 13 Monkeys as well. Also missing the Expanse, which is one of the absolute best.

I highly encourage you not to go that route. Let it build up again to Laconia in a proper way. The books will be a fast read, you’re not gonna need to reread anything to figure out where you are. You’ll tear through books and visualize everything as its unfolding, like watching it again but with extreme detail.

That’s awesome to hear, fuck yeah. The books are also fantastic and watching the show doesn’t spoil anything PLUS the show is only books 1-6, there’s 3 more books to go. Definitely start with book one though, there’s a ton of detail and some minor (a few major) changes that are worth the read.
