I think Andor is the absolute best of SW but dont kid yourself, a lot of SW fans dont like it Yes this is true and clearly those folks are basic lil tasteless vanillas. Ofc there’s more of them than us but either way catering to what’s already popular is IMO a shameful waste. Fuck popular culture, give me gritty original art. Let the kids feast on Mando while us adults appreciate Andor for the artistic expression we deserve.

I saw OT in the theaters, knew the prequels and sequels were gonna be shit and didnt bother watching. Mostly. I mean I caught some of it but not with any joy or planning, fully hatewatched what I have seen. To me the story is now complete with Andor / R1 as the prequels to OT. All the other productions, spinoffs, comics and cartoons are frivolous fillers meant to sell IP and merchandise.

Well basically the prequels were shit so I didn’t bother. Like I said I was seven when OT came out, by the time prequels came around I was in my 20s, into grunge rock, metal and rap and avoiding anything pop culture. I saw the one with JarJar, said fuck that and never went back. I’m no fanboy, I’m an old school die hard so in my book it goes Andor -> R1 -> OT and the story is complete. All that other stuff sucks and isn’t worth my time.

I was 7 when I saw the original at theaters and these fucks have always been scary. I never watched any of the prequels or sequels and avoided most of filler disney fan service shitshows so in my head stormtroopers = scary mother fuckers. Hell I never even bothered with Rogue One until halfway through season one of Andor and I was like, damn I gotta check this shit out.
