I will say this every single time I see a version of this excuse. He was elected because he promised the country he would lower prices on day one. Biden was voted out because he was blamed for inflation and high prices. No where in Trumps campaign did he ever say we would go through a rough patch (whatever that means)

Thats what Republicans do best. Take all the credit for the good things the previous democratic administration did and blame the democrats for all the bad stuff. It still blows my mind that Obama takes far more blame for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars than Bush.
