Yeah.we never had any non stop headlines about our previous Presidents mental fitness. In the meantime our current president during the campaign was ranting about people eating dogs and cats and dancing on stage to avoid answering questions during a rally. Nothing to see there!

Their inaction has ceded power and much more effectively than trying to pass legislation in a divided Congress. The result is the public sees them as useless and ineffective and look to an all powerful executive to solve it all.

This does not get enough attention. I worry that republicans have ceded their legislative power past the point of no return in their worship of Trump. That sets public perception we need an all powerful authority figure to solve all our problems
