This happens every time. Republicans trash the economy, start wars, etc. Voters get mad and elect democrats to solve the problems. Democrats start fixing the issues but voters get mad that the democrats arent fixing everything fast or perfect enough and then end up holding democrats responsible for the initial mess. Republicans free from all accountability get voted back in and take a sledgehammer to the progress democrats madevoters become unhappy again and repeat. I am exhausted with this ongoing cycle, and I wonder if democrats are too weakened and Elon and co now so entrenched in our government now were at the end.

Sometimes you just have to be in awe at how after the right does something objectively bad and unpopular, like stripping healthcare away from tens of millions of people, after explicitly promising not to do that, that they are still able to keep the conversation about the democrat elites and keep people arguing about that, instead. And people fall for it. Every single time. The most prolific propagandists in history would be envious.
