Its so hard to get people to understand this. There is this pervasive belief that Fox News and Newsmax is just the right wing answer to the lefts MSNBC and CNN. The truth is that leftists have no Fox News equivalent mainstream media. We have both sides corporate milquetoast BS that could at best be considered centrist (what is center between moderate democrats and far right extremist fascist loonies?), and the right wing propaganda sphere.

The product advertisements are so bad it borders on parody. The long panning of the trucks/cars making sure to show their emblems. Opening the fridge and the camera literally focuses in on the perfectly placed michelob ultra for like 3 seconds. Zooming in on a character whos just smoking a cig for no apparent reason. Its just weird and takes me out of the show completely.

Yeah but for me it changes the dynamics of things. In the game, Dina goes along because shes invested in Ellie. In the show, now she has additional investment because she was directly hurt by the group and was a first hand witness etc. In the game its significant because of the moment where Ellie decides to once again pursue her vengeance (after a lot has already happened) and Dina just wants them to resume their life together. Ellie cant let it go because she was there and its burned into her mind, Dina can only stretch so far to support Ellies quest for revenge.
