Hard to tell from this far away but I don’t see any cracks in the shell. If it got to the middle of the road and nobody ran it over I’d say it’s just hiding until it feels safe.

When I had turtles I fed them worms, pill bugs, stuff like that. I’m sure this stuff is fine too but maybe vary it a little bit with live food/fresh veggies. They’ll let you know what they like and what they don’t.

Im actually super jealous of this person, Id love to build an enclosure like that for that big ol boy (or girl). I hope they have the room!

Yep. I live in an apartment complex with a pond and even pulled one out of here before. Probably the biggest of all that Ive ever hooked.

Youre lucky. Turtles are a pretty big problem for fishermen here in Indiana depending on the location. One spot I went to had several young sliders chasing my bobber and then a big ol snapper that somehow managed to take a bite out of a fish in my live basket.
