I’m old enough to remember ksl.com deciding it was going to get into the classifieds business. The first thing they did was populate their listings with a digital copy of all classifieds from SL Tribune site for free. Diabolical and effective. They ran some commercials saying, “List your stuff for free,” and the rest was history. They pretty much took over classifieds from the Trib in short order.
