It would have been better without Hades. The movie should have been about how we don’t need an old Greek god to go to war and slaughter each other by the millions. She spends the movie searching for Hades only to learn he has been dead for millenia and there wasn’t any sinister behind the scenes puppet master. Just mundane, banal, weak people.
