Absolutely. 100%, and I hope someone left of Newsom wins it. But I also hope that when that persons flaws are amplified and bad actors start trying to whip up the leftist infighting, that we manage to rise above it and band together. A leftist candidate will need moderates support, a moderate candidate will need leftist support. We can keep working on moving things further to the left over time if it doesnt work out this election, but at the end of the day Trump and the rest of the GOP fascists have to go one way or another.
