all g, amigo. yes. filters will block things you do not want to load. it really just depends on which scene has more of the things you want to keep. youll do less work on the filters if you load that scene first. know what i mean? it sounds like your buddys scene is what you want to base stuff on for the most part. i would load his scene, then use the recall filters before loading your scene. they are deep, so be thorough and double-check your filter choices before loading, then double check what everything looks like on the console once youve loaded your scene.
