At this point one third to half the population is either ambivalent or outright supports this regime. This group is also the folks with most firearms. The uprising needs to be in the spirit of 1776 NOT 1861. In order for that to happen its gotta get worse. When the number of former supporters become disgruntled, desperate and angry reach a critical mass then we can talk revolt. Until then any actions wont breach the political divide.
