Because its literally not that hard. You could go out today and buy a decent rifle, get a decent scope, and go start practicing at the range. At first you are going to struggle to even zero in your scope. But after shooting for a few weeks you will see huge improvement in your skill. Keep it up for a few months and 200 yards wont be that difficult. And if his family is the kind of gun enthusiast family it appears to be, this guy probably been shooting from a young age. I grew up around families like that, I knew this one kid who at 12 years old was hunting effectively with rifles. And he was allowed unlimited access to his guns, lived in a wooded area, he could leave his house and shoot squirrels and shit whenever he wanted. He was a better shot at 12 than I was as a 20 year old man. I will say it was super fucking disturbing to walk into a 12 year olds room and he would just have his guns and ammo strewn across his room among his toys. But a lot of families are like that in America.
