I think people would have been more forgiving of a president who put himself on the line to save lives even if it meant impeachment. I don’t think they could’ve removed him even if the impeachment succeeded in the House.
This is the actual truth. As long as people are willing to hand them their money they have no desire to put the effort in to make sure the game runs smooth. They know they can get away with it with just a few people online complaining. It changes nothing.
