For me it was my dad. Rush tapped into something with white, middle/working class anger and grievance that defines the Republican Party today. Funny enough Rush is one of the reasons I didnt fall into my conservative upbringing. As a young woman in my early to mid teens I remember being so repulsed by Rushs misogyny even though I dont think I could have defined it at the time.
