Unemployment isn’t welfare. You pay into unemployment the way you pay into a 401k, another fund, or insurance. What you get from it is proportional to what you pay into it. Unemployment isn’t a hand out.
Vent about it some more in this thread, then delete this thread after a few days, then repost it for more responses several times.
