How is one supposed to dispose of a flag that has touched the ground or is worn out? Not starting shit, it’s just that you are supposed to burn flags as a show of respect. You’re also expressly not to use the flag as clothing or as an advertisement. Those are what is disgraceful. Every shirt or hat with a flag on it is in violation of the flag code, as is every truck or business with it printed or painted on them or thier logo.
