I (54m) ditched my walker switched to a cane on day 6, I cannot imagine what’s complicating your recovery OP. I’ve been walking without support since the 3rd week, I’m in my 7th and can now go up and down stairs. I’m not saying this to brag but it sounds like something isn’t right with your recovery.
