I know its easier said than done, but dont be. Dont give them that satisfaction. I bought into it for the first fifteen years of my life. I have nightmares to this day because of it. Thats not even the worst of it. If you get that shit planted in your head, good luck planning for life. Its a seriously damaging cult tactic. Its hard to even get motivated to do anything because, whats the fucking point? Ive been out of the cult for 30 years now, and its taken just as long to realize how shit from those years is still burrowed in my psyche. Its very if we cant have you, no one will. Every day is a struggle to see the point. Now that Imiddle aged, I dont have a whole lot to show for. I did ok for a while, but eventually the depression sets in deep, and itll be hard for those around you to understand exactly why youre so unmotivated. Throw in all the other bullshit that comes with simply existing, and every mile hill becomes a mountain.
