At this point Whitfield is a cartoon/James Bond villian. The writers poured it on too thick. I did like that Banner had a few moments of reflection about what he was about too. Also that his wife understood, and encouraged him with a “fuck them” attitude. So many Europeans came from harsh backgrounds. I wonder if they had that “I suffered too, so I don’t care what I have to do to get to a better place” attitude too. A lot of them had no problem settling on land that was only made available by murdering Native Americans.
He did all right. I think Ford was right, she was jealous.
