I live in Missouri. I drive rideshare sometimes and picked up a guy from the police station not long ago. He was very upset, on the verge of tears, cause he just got his FOURTH DUI. He was saying he’s gonna lose his job, his wife, his kids, his life is over, etc. I felt kinda bad for him, but WTF dude? FOUR? And they still let you drive?!? And you still chose to drink and drive? Horrible decisions on his part, but I feel like the system is failing him too. WHY is he still driving after 3, much less 1? 4 is insane. Should never get to that point. Funny part is they walked him to the car, shook his hand and talked with him for a min before sending him on his way, paid private ride courtesy of the taxpayers. And he had nothing but horrible shit to say about how they treated him… I mean I don’t trust the police at all myself, but they just treated you like a king on your way out and clearly were treating you well… c’mon dude. Get your shit together.
