I mean think about how narcissistic/self-centered you sound. If everyone only voted for the candidate that only wants exactly the same things they want, every candidate would be lucky to receive anything more than one single vote.   Why should anyone, especially more centrist/moderate democrats, vote for your ideal leftist candidate should they win? If they are as narcissistic as you are, then your candidate has zero chance to win. Hopefully youre just an isolated incident and the vast majority has more sense to compromise than you do.
