A nib still there… or breaking off the corner of a stone and having to take it out, cut a new one, put it back in using the nubs, and then fucking up that stone as well, just to do it all over again? Edit: the pyramids in Egypt, which is what a lot of the pictures are from, we’re not stepped the way they are today. They were smooth. These nubs wouldn’t have even been seen back in the day. I’d leave them. Everytime.
