I’m the OP. In my case the guy couldn’t come out to me personally claiming he was at work. He wanted to pay me via app and have his son pick it up for him. His son had no access to funds. People in the thread have mentioned that these apps are like credit cards in that they can put stop payments on money sent and even pull the payment back.
