I’ve never rage quit. But I no longer provide notice. The last two firms found out I was leaving when I turned in my company property. I left everything in my office, loaded up my personal property and fired off a resignation email, and left immediately. I view the email as more than adequate and more than any firm deserves. Once raises start to get smaller, I know they are taking me for granted. So I get a position with a new firm and set up a start date a month from accepting the job. The next day, I quit and block everyone. Then I enjoy a month off.
