Just started the book today and the note at the beginning made it clear and prepares the reader. Not confused over here although I have no need for linear logic or storytelling. I’m fine with it. I can’t wrap my brain around your unwrapped brain OP. Also it’s only the traveling part that’s incongruous (so far), the story is still A to B. They are talking about it being a time loop so again, not gonna be too concerned if the story doesn’t line up linearly. I’m old school and read The Illuminatus! trilogy in the 90s (Robert Anton Wilson) and later Schroedinger’s Cat which also takes place on a train. It could be this book is influenced by those books and has already made my brain ready for the ride. Anyway back to the book, which I’m enjoying thoroughly.

I loved books 1 and 2 but I absolutely can't wrap my head around book 3. I am constantly confused in the Iron Tangle.
