My surgery is tomorrow morning, I’m 54 and while ready I’m also feeling a bit scared of it all. I met someone yesterday who had TKR two years ago and ended up with a staff infection, he was wearing a brace when I met him. Really discouraging and a new fear put into my process. I realized that it was a good reminder to keep everything clean be extra careful. But still, goddamn. Good to hear about your hike, well done op!
