No, it’s always been that way, pretty much globally. 20% of human beings always seem to gravitate towards the worst choice possible – we call those people conservatives, now. Most often, they were just called the town crazy/loser, but sometimes one of them gets more power than running a lemonade stand and we end up with shit like trumpy. It’s just history and human nature. And the border thing is just a tool those same people use to hold onto/gain power. It’s boring.
