Obviously you’re right. I ghost-write for people sometimes, and I’ve written probably 40 articles at this point re: birthrates (or the weird actual term “live births per woman”) since 2019. I’m all over that narrative. I do feel like FWISD is a little messed up in that they had a supposedly big search for Ramsey, then seemingly pushed her out within 26 months because she didn’t fit the Mattie/Board ethos. She might have been terrible — I don’t know the inner workings — but it seems like hiring a college football coach, he goes 4-7 with another guy’s recruits, and you pipe him out. It seems dysfunctional. Almost everyone I knew in FWISD at the teacher level left for HEB and Birdville in the last six years. That seems to say something.
