Recluse bites don’t swell, btw. They get a bit red around the bite area which will be white at first. The area will then sink due to the cytotoxic venom destroying the cells. No inflammation occurs during the whole 2 week bite healing process. And you can live your whole life with Recluse and never be bit. It is extremely rare to be bit in the first place and even rarer for a confirmed envenomation to become necrotic.
