so I finally told him I wasnt comfortable dating someone with kids. That set him off. It is a red flag when someone gets set off from a rejection. If this is how he handles being told no politely from someone he barely knows, imagine how he reacts with someone hes intimate with behind closed doors. Your reason is valid. he thought younger girls liked experienced men A pretty straightforward red flag here. Heres the thing about dating and best advice I can give anyone. You have the right to have preferences. Dating and choosing a partner is not about fairness or pity. Its about getting exactly what you want and nothing less. If you dont want to date someone with kids, thats your right. You dont have to compromise unless you have your own reasons for justifying that compromise. But dont let someone else pressure you into compromising when you dont want to. Keep in mind that getting into a relationship with a toxic person is a lot easier than getting out of one with a toxic person. This guy seems like a giant red flag to me because he cant handle a polite rejection. You dont owe him anything.
