Thats the thing, we arent talking about simple differing political opinions. In my view, different political opinions means debating tax rates, budget proposals, healthcare policies, various administrative policy and law. But in the modern age everything is political right down to whether or not certain human beings should have basic rights or be treated with any amount of dignity. Thats not political disagreement. Theres a fucking baseline that if different sides are going to respect each other, they need to agree that all people should be treated with the respect and dignity of being human. If we cant agree on that, we arent in a mere disagreement, we are incompatible. We cant coexist. And thats where America is today.
