That’s true, however even if it was temporary he is still revoking it before their status was supposed to expire. And lets not pretend like Trump didn’t already say during the election that he would revoke legal immigrant status, specifically the Haitian immigrants in Ohio who were alleged to have been eating peoples pets (total lie) and they should be deported.
