The weekend before that, he was preaching in PA — which, at the time, was THE swing state of ’24. Someone up some chain likes him. Put another way, I doubt he flew to PA/DC on American. But when he becomes toxic, whoever props him will bail. At the same time: if he has big money behind him, then why is his wife asking for lumber?
