The UK “fixes” itself with socialism every couple years – aka repairs some of the conservatives’ fuckups. This of course isn’t easy, fought tooth and nail by the rich, which of course results in the conservative’s coming back to power and fucking things up again. Bring in the socialists to fix it, repeat, over and over and over. We do the same thing in the US, but instead of socialists we just bring in half-hearted centrists instead of actual socialists, so we just keep moving farther right and fucking up even more. Doesn’t stop conservatives from calling everything they don’t like “socialism” tho.
