the underlying metrics dont make me gaga but he has limited hard contact very well, which is wild because he hasnt had a lot of swing and miss at the highest level. the new curveball should play, and i think that would make it a solid 5 pitch mix for him. he also brought his velo up a tick from last year as people here have mentioned. i hope he makes it interesting. plus, i mean hes got a big league name to boot.
