There’s a “V” on the heartline at the front of the abdomen that is indicative of Larinioides sp., so if you see another spider with that V marking, it’s a Larinioides sp. How the other markings are designed, as well as color and how “hairy” the spider is, would tell what species it is. Hairless is almost always L. cornutus. If it is dark grey and black with light colored ornate and almost calligraphy designs, it’s most likely L. scopetarius. If it looks like a mix between the two, such as you have, it would be a Larinioides patagiatus.
