Well the left didnt fully melt down and collectively post cringe cry bullying videos screaming about civil war and threatening to plunge the country into violence and chaos. The media didnt care to treat it as a watershed moment or canonize the victim, and surprise surprise – the president couldnt be bothered to give a single shit about it. I also think that, sadly, the left realizes on some level that political violence against us is something that is going to happen and its not entirely shocking or surprising. Somehow, the right is oblivious to the tumultuous times we are in or think their side will forever be immune to the violence fomenting from rhetoric spewed not just by trolls online, but right wing influencers like Charlie Kirk and even the president himself.
