When I turned 18 I stopped taking money from my parents, aside from a college fund my father busted his ass to build for me. I had problems with my education and eventually ended up paying for my “reeducation” in a lucrative field with loans. I’m not a special person. The opportunities were there for someone like me to do that ( I am NOT a boomer so you can STFU about that right now ). I still freaks me out to read about adults accepting money from their parents, though I realize the economic landscape has changed.
