You were privileged to have two chances, and you should acknowledge that. I don’t agree. To be fair when I read the word “privileged” I parse that as a term of resentment which does not make me open minded. I got my second degree by living in a closet of a room, working two part time jobs, studying, and taking out loans which I paid back. Please don’t tell me I am “privileged”. I’m not quite sure what your point is. My point was that it still seems strange to me how many adults and adults after their educations, still take money from their parents. Like I wrote I know the economic landscape has changed, but it seems strange to me. It also seems strange to me how many adults don’t have a problem with it.

Why do people get so touchy about rich folks opening doors for their kids when it's essentially what most of us would do in a similar situation? Like when did we stop celebrating other people's good fortune and start treating Not struggling like a crime?
