Similar vein: virtually every true Republican I know has no faith in Bo French or most of the county “leadership.” They know one decent candidate who’s slightly left of center, or slightly right of center but believes 1-2 liberal things, can win here pretty easily.

Westcliff seems good. One of our best friends, couples-wise, the wife went there (decades ago). A lot of people in 2021-2022 were trying to sell out of Westcliff into Overton. Now half the people I know who did that are house poor and can’t meet for a beer. LOL.

When I first found the article, I honestly thought they were giving a license back to the place — but this one is in west Fort Worth — that used to be open until 4am and was “BYOB.” That got shut down by the county about a year ago. I first thought “Oh wow, we’re letting this back in?” But no, this was the burn job.
