I carried an SR9c until I got my Shield2.0, upgraded to Shield Plus. The SR9c is really a fantastic firearm and runs bedside and sometimes winter carry.

I’m a student of Bando (Burmese arts) and the Black Panther system within it have a lot of focus swords, knives, cutting and slicing, evasive and proactive techniques. For years before one picks up the bladed weapon we focus and train with a quarter staff. It’s establishes synchronized hands and movements, building the required muscle memory to effectively use a single or dual blade. Escrima / kali much the same, different tools similar approach. Learn the stick to master the blade.

Smiles in 50 yard home range. I get make whimsical decisions on when I shoot, 2-4 times a week is commonplace. Only time I plan is for getting long range action. But yeah, I think its good idea when to say you have enough. At this pint Ive got all the platforms and calibers I want or need. Anything new means selling the one its replacing.

Came here to say this almost exactly. The gifts of the martial arts are numerous, capability, confidence, conditioning, camaraderie, situational awareness, respect. Actively learning to spar puts you under high stress scenario second only to actual combat. Learning how your body reacts and slow down time (gaining choices and options between the beats, under stress), training muscle memory and technique, learning empty hand application can translate to weapons and actually training with sticks, knives, etc so that anything around you can compliment your empty hands. I could go on and on. Get training folks.

One of the reasons Dems lost is their stance on Israel. Candidates can/should demonstrate an anti-genocide stance and publicly declare a disconnection form AIPAC. When 70% of politicians are complicit in genocide it’s impossible for anyone with morals to actively support. The status quo didn’t work and there’s no reason to expect it to work going forward. We need radical change. Mamdani is an example of a candidate the people want to rally behind, obviously AOC as well. We should never settle for anything less. We’re at rock bottom now. It’s time to take a stance, to stand up and demand real change.

At the very least cancelled by me. Hopefully Dems wake up to understand the political divide is by design and the real issue is the billionaire class vs the rest of us.
