Many years ago when I trouble with sleep I went to pulmonologist who told me the same thing. He said it isn’t 100% true for everyone, but losing excess fat almost always makes sleep apnea and snoring go away. Every time I have mentioned this on Reddit I have gotten downvoted too. I remember reading an article about someone with diabetes and cardiovascular issues suing their doctor for telling them they needed to lose weight. I’ve talked personally with several doctors who will not talk about behavioral changes as remedies because people will not do them or they will get offended. People come to /r/herbalism in part because they want to solve problems without prescription drugs. Reducing excess fat is natural, no drugs involved, even if it is not a quick fix. Quick fix for snoring: sleep on your side elevate your head with more pillows.

The moderators of /r/zen claim that “zen” is not part of Buddhism, and is not “Zen Buddhism”. I asked them about it a few years ago and they gave me quite the lengthy explanation in that regard despite the world saying otherwise. This situation has been the case for decades – only use Reddit as an invitation to do further research.

I’ve noticed that watery produce tastes better when it is organic. I’ve also seen visible differences between organic and non-organic. There is a difference. Whether or not those differences matter beyond taste and I appearance I do not know. I would also like to see who funded the studies saying that organic or not does not matter.

For those of you reading this who are working, plan for your retirement. Itll come sooner than you think and you will love it. I hope it turns out that way for me too. I’ve been working at it for a long time. My retirement accounts recently went down, sharply, due to trump’s tariff bs. I’ve heard that the republican congress is trying to destroy social security too. It sucks to save hard only to have some vindictive moron knock it over. Hopefully by the time I am ready my accounts will have recovered. I keep reading that the average American only has $60,000 for retirement savings if they have any retirement savings at all. Given that social security has been weak and is now being attacked I think many Americans will be working until they die.
