What is this, final destination for planets?

Thousands of people die every day and we dont think twice about the vast majority of them. Hell, we probably dont even hear or know about them. We only know about this one because hes a rich wealthy elitist. Likewise, when one of us is murdered in cold blood there isnt a big press conference where the leadership announces the deployment of dogs, helicopters, drones, planes, etc because again, thats something they do for the rich and/or famous. Not us regular, worthless nobodies. Its not about hating this CEO as an individual. Maybe he played a role in denying insurance claims, or maybe he was genuinely a good person. Irrelevant. Its about hating the system that rewards individuals who climb over others to the top with obscene amounts of wealth and power and how the justice system favors them. Its mostly crooks at the top and we all know it. and we just elected a convicted felon billionaire as president. People are fed up with the rich and powerful getting away with everything and taking all that they can for themselves leaving less and less for the rest.

Sometimes, but how many times do we want to put that to the test? How many theocratic religious extremist regimes that believe they are acting in the interest of a higher power to conquer the world and spread their way of life, do we want to have nukes? All it takes is one time, one nation, to do the wrong insane thing and it could spark a cascade of further bad decisions leading to the literal end of the world as we know it.

Im not advocating for violence on anyone or in any direction, but Ive never understood why with all the different dregs of society, its almost always school children, movie goers, or grocery store poor people that are targeted by killers.

Weve been lucky that existing nukes have been under the control of relatively stable states that have agreed to and practiced cooperative restraint with them. What happens when more states, more unstable ones, acquire them for necessary defense? What happens when those regimes undergo violent revolutions/coups? When the leadership cant be trusted to be sane? How long will the world remain this lucky for? Nuclear proliferation will not lead to prolonged peace. It may seem that way for a time, up to the moment it leads to something worse than any previous world war.

Yeah you bet. If this happened to you or me, they would definitely be bringing out the drones, the dogs, the planes/helicopters, satellites, the top-secret nano bees which Im not supposed to mention. They would spare no expense LOL. For sure.

Yeah this is the cold hard truth. Even a nuclear alliance cant even be considered a long term solution. A nation needs nukes if it wants to prevent invasion, period. And the darkest fact of this is that invariably, at some point in the future, someones going to go too far in testing the boundaries of what they can get away with, with a nuclear armed state, and a nuke will be used. The slippery slope that event will send the world spiraling down could get unimaginably ugly incomprehensibly quickly.

Was there ever any doubt that Trump would completely capitulate to his master?
