Intrigued. They show an island, I would think after the ending of the sequel that most of the world is now infected. It would make sense that the only refuge may be small land masses like an island that could be defended from infection. Set photos appeared to show a guy in UN/NATO(?) soldier outfit? So not clear on how much of the world is infected at this point in the story, but I fail to see how after the spread to Paris and 28 years later any major nation has managed to keep the virus at bay.

Yeah this trailer just shows way too much. Basically gives away the plot of the entire trilogy.

Brother the popular vote doesnt even matter why bring it up lol. As I said previously, even our votes are not equal. Thats why I brought it up and you are illustrating here how that is objectively true. This is just another example to add to the pile of how the system is rigged against us. This is the exact kind of thing that has many people riled up. But to my point about the election, it was objectively a thin margin if you are looking at what actual human beings voted, not electoral college, which is whats relevant in this conversation. Its not the electoral college thats going to rise up against the 1% with civil disobedience and unrest. Its the 48.4% of people who dont want the rich to further erode our healthcare, our social security, our votes, etc. The fact that people on the right also have no sympathy for the UHC ceo is a very bad sign for those at the top, because it means there is bipartisan agreement against the rich millionaires and billionaires that are destroying the classes below them. Those people, as brainwashed as they are, might one day soon recognize the likes of Trump and Elon Musk are exactly the same elitists that are actively hurting us for their own gain.

Its the thinnest popular vote victory since Bush 2000, which was also a thin victory, and few elections prior to that were won by thinner margins. So yeah, despite the narrative Trump and friends would love to spin about landslides, the American people could hardly be more divided about him.

Musk was posting on his propaganda platform how its totally not based to kill CEOs lmao.

What are they going to do, stop and indefinitely hold anyone who has similar face structure to someone they think might be the killer? They have limited data to use for facial recognition so sure to get lots of false positives. Is there even facial recognition to go into Mexico? Things might be different now but years ago when I crossed into Tijuana there was nothing. It was getting back into the states that was a process.

Yes I agree. This is getting into how income should be distributed, which is a related but different topic. Honestly I dont know what the answer is. I dont know what the cutoff should be. Im not against people getting rich to some degree. But like you say, the lower employees should be seeing the benefits as well. Something like the most someone can make in a company cant be more than 50 times the lowest paid employee or something to that effect. That way if the CEO is making 10 million a year, their lowest paid employee must be making 200K a year. Then in order for the CEO to make 20 million a year, lowest paid employee must make 400K. And so on.

Even though we just elected a billionaire felon by a thin margin, its obvious theres civil discontent and unrest in the air. Tens of millions of Americans are waking up to how unfair the system is, and how its lopsided in favor of the elites. We arent created equal, we arent treated equal, our votes arent even equal. The sad thing is that more often than not, people on the right and left want the same things. Policies that expand medical care are popular. Social entitlement programs are popular. Unfortunately culture war bs was leveraged to get millions of Americans to vote against their own interests, but millions understand that the real fight is between the 99% and the 1% that wants to control and harm us.

Rather than be so childish about it, show some humility and understand the point Im making is that its not required to believe that billionaires are inherently immoral or evil people in order to shame them for their wealth and demand a change in wealth distribution. We are on the same side but arguing over nonsense because Redditors regurgitate that billionaires must all be evil, as it is so close to the truth of it but we are at a stage where nuance is important. I dont believe Taylor Swift is evil either, or that she attained her wealth immorally. I still believe it is, in itself, immoral for her to have that much wealth, to try to attain even more, without putting a significant amount of it back into society. We lose the plot if we inaccurately demonize all billionaires as having necessarily fucked people over and evilly/immorally attained their wealth. This isnt about getting a dopamine hit ffs, its about getting others to focus on what actually matters on this issue which is that billionaires should not exist period, and it has little to nothing to do with how they became billionaires. We need to set the foundation for this discourse to be as effective as possible at getting this message through.
