Not necessarily. Every election since who knows when is won by independents. These are the wishy washy types who pay zero attention (for the most part) and vote based on vibes. Trump said the right things to win them over, even if the rest of us knew it was all lies. These are the people that can be picked up, otherwise they could just stay home.

I get it. I have some of those same feelings and we can come up with all the excuses in the world, but if someone can admit they did wrong and feel truly bad about it, I think its worth being welcoming even if we cant forgive them for what they did.

8 democrats have died in office. Had we had younger people instead they would have stopped Trumps big beautiful bill and saved at least 13.7 million people from losing their Medicaid. They couldve stopped the defunding of NPR & PBS. We have elections for a reason, someone else can fight Trump, probably more effectively.
